
The Ann-Marie Soltan Memorial Training Support Program is an annual scholarship proudly established by DJMIR Advisory Services in loving memory of Ann-Marie Soltan.
Ann-Marie dedicated almost four decades to the Early Childhood Education and Care sector and was widely respected for her knowledge, mentorship and unwavering commitment to supporting educators and services. Her passion for professional learning and sector improvement continues to inspire this program.
Each year, one DJMIR Member will be awarded $5,000 in fully funded professional training and development support, enabling meaningful investment in educator capability, leadership growth and service quality outcomes.
This program aims to continue Ann-Marie’s legacy by supporting training that strengthens:
leadership and management capability
educator professional growth
child safety and safeguarding practices
curriculum and educational excellence
inclusion and behaviour guidance practices
educator wellbeing and continuous improvement
The approved training support:
Must be used for professional development of educators, directors or managers
Covers approved training and upskilling activities only
Is funded directly by DJMIR Advisory Services
Must be utilised within the approved 12-month program period
